Not PatoApple Wallet

Pay with Apple Pay and it is logged

You set up an iOS shortcut that fires on its own every time you pay with Apple Pay, and sends the amount and the merchant to Not Pato. Nothing to open, nothing to remember: you pay and it is already logged.

What it can and can't do

Can

  • Log every Apple Pay payment the moment you make it
  • Recognize the merchant and categorize it on its own
  • Merge that payment with the bank transaction when it lands, without duplicating it

Can't

  • Log physical card payments (that is what the bank connection is for)
  • Work on Android: the shortcut is iOS only
  • See your card details or your credentials

How to connect it

  1. 1

Open the Not Pato app and go to the Apple Pay setup.

  2. 2

The app installs the shortcut and walks you through it for your iOS version.

  3. 3

Pay with Apple Pay as usual. The expense shows up on its own.

You need an iPhone with Apple Pay set up and a Not Pato account on an active plan.

Frequently asked questions

No. When the bank reports the same purchase, Not Pato recognizes it as the same payment and merges it into a single transaction instead of counting it twice.
