Comparison
Not Pato vs your bank app
Your bank shows you, very well, what happened inside your bank. The trouble starts when you hold accounts at two, a card at a third, and pay for some things in cash: nobody shows you the total.

Each bank shows you its own side very well. Nobody shows you the total.
The problem is not your bank's app. It is that your money does not all sit in one bank.
This is the most reasonable objection there is, and it deserves to be said in full: if all your money runs through one bank and its app is enough for you, you do not need anything else.
What almost nobody has is a single account. Between the payroll account, the old one, a card from another bank and whatever you pay in cash, the picture is split across four screens that do not talk to each other. Adding that up by hand, every month, is exactly what nobody does.
And there is one thing your bank cannot do by design: tell you what you spent at the bank next door.
The statement
One statement with every bank in it
When your cycle closes, a PDF statement lands in your inbox with everything together: the period summary, your accounts across every bank, spending by category, your budgets, your fixed expenses and the full transaction detail. Your bank sends you its own, with its own side. This is the one none of them can send you.
- It arrives two days after the close, once the bank has reported the last charges
- The closing balance matches the sum of your accounts, and says so
- It is password protected, like your bank's: your RUT opens it
- It covers your cycle, not the calendar month

Go with Not Pato if
- Your money is spread across more than one bank or more than one card.
- You want to know where it goes, not just how much is left.
- You pay for things in cash and they vanish from the picture.
- You want real budgets, by category and by month.
Go with Your bank app if
- All your money runs through a single bank.
- Seeing the balance and the last few transactions is enough for you.
- You would rather not pay for a finance app, which is completely fair.
- You need to transfer, pay bills or open products: that is the bank's job and Not Pato does not do it.
